Here is my Lego 4×4 track all terrain robot vehicle with 4 independently driven tracks using Power Functions motors and infra-red remote control.
I’m not sure the tinfoil background worked so well, but it was the only material I had to hand this Sunday morning. What does work however is the Magic 360° spin viewer by www.magictoolbox.com. I need to sort out my photography a bit, but the software is easy to use in WordPress, and many other CMS’s. It is javascript based (no Flash so it runs on all devices including iPads!) and there are a lot more visual and configuration options such as zoom and full 360ºx180º spins. Very cool, and for non-commercial use the software is also free.
As you can see in the video the performance of the robot crossing a variety of terrain is pretty good, and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out on only the second build.
